#improud Calendar Competition to close soon
Federal Member for Murray, the Hon Damian Drum MP is calling on local high school students to enter a photograph in his annual #improud calendar competition.
“This year will be the third edition of the #improud calendar and each year it gets harder to decide which photos will get published,” Mr Drum said.
“The calendar reflects the reasons why we are proud to live and work in this beautiful part of the world. We are privileged to have so many different landscapes, wildlife, flora and agricultural scenes that make great photos.
“A picture really does paint a thousand words and it is important that our young people capture these stories of our beautiful region. At the end of the day our young people are our future,” Mr Drum said.
“The calendar will reach nearly 10,000 people and will be my Facebook cover photo for the respective month.”
To enter please send your name, school, contact details, photograph and title of the photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org or send in a hard copy to:
Damian Drum MP
426 Wyndham Street
Shepparton VIC 3630
Each photograph must be in a landscape orientation.
The #improud calendar competition closes on September 14 2018. Winning entries will have their photos published in the calendar and have an opportunity to have morning tea with Damian. Damian also plans to frame and hang each photograph in his Parliament office, Canberra.
Winners will be notified in October 2018.
The overall winning photo will get the coveted front cover of the calendar, feature as a month in the 2019 calendar and a $100 voucher to their local camera store.
