Damian Drum Listening Post in Rochester and Echuca
This Wednesday 11 July, the people of Rochester and Echuca will have the opportunity to speak with the local Federal Member for Murray, the Hon Damian Drum at a Listening Post.
Mr Drum said that locals deserve to have their opinions heard and questions answered. After a Federal Budget people want clarity on what has been announced and what the Budget means for them and their family.
“There is sometimes uncertainty as to what the Budget means for the average Australian. By getting into our communities I aim to clarify the issues raised,” Mr Drum said.
“This provides an opportunity for me to speak with the people in Rochester and Echuca an to hear about their concerns and then assist in any way I can.
Mr Drum will be set up in the Shamrock Hotel in Rochester from 10:00am onwards and at the pedestrian crossing on Hare Street in Echuca from 12:00pm.
“It is important that the community has access to their federal parliamentary representative. I was elected to represent the people of the Murray electorate and the best way I can do that is by speaking with the people who elected me.
“I am encouraging people to come along to the Listening Post have a chat or just say g’day,” Mr Drum said.
